“On Friday, June 20, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) impounded 10 colorum buses as it started implementing the joint administrative order which imposes heftier fines,” reports Kris Bayos in Manila Bulletin.
The following buses were impounded:
—Buenasher Transport Corporation bus (PVH-460), which was caught plying Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) with franchise that expired in January 2013.
—Two (2) Bachelor Express buses in Region 10 operating an ordinary route and carrying passengers from Butuan City to Cagayan
—Lucena Lines bus in Alaminos, Laguna (TYK-695) which has an expired vehicle registration and expired franchise
—Jerel Transport Corp. (Sunrays Bus Lines, GWF-633) in Region 7
—Two (2) Super 5 buses in Region 5, both carrying Manila-bound passengers from Surigao (PIA-826) and from Davao (UVC-699)
—AOM Bus with plate no. 051206 also in Region 5 which carries passengers from Naga City
—Dalin Liner bus (BVB-591) in Region 2
—Nelbusco bus (BVK-502) in Region 2
