It’s a bloody day.
“On Monday, Mar 17, New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) inmate George Almo, believed to be a Sputnik gang member, was killed after he was attacked while on his way to the chapel inside the maximum security compound,” reports Dennis Carcamo on Philstar.com.
During the riot that ensued, another inmate, Nol Ladiao, was wounded after being stabbed with a bladed object by a Sputnik gang member identified as Enrico de Asis.
It was not clear who killed Almo.
The report said that due to the hostilities, the NBP has implementd a “padlock policy” following the riots. That means all visitors are temporarily barred from entering the prison compound.
Why can’t they just make cake? And eat it, too?
