They don’t call it the Killer Highway for nothing.
“Carlos Pamintuan Jr., 53, an employee of the Quezon City government’s engineering department, was declared dead on arrival at Fairview General Hospital after the accident on Commonwealth Avenue at around 4pm on Tuesday, Jan 28,” reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
According to the investigators of the Quezon City Police District’s Traffic Sector 5, Pamintuan was riding a motorcycle that was hit by a MannRose bus (TXR-765). The bus then went on to crash into a motorcycle, a tricycle, a car, and a delivery truck.
Five occupants of the four other vehicles hit by the bus suffered bruises and contusions.
