A campaign truck making the rounds of Fairview in Quezon City hit a motorcycle killing the driver and injuring the passenger.
Scarla Fortuna was driving an Isuzu Elf van along the northbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue when he hit a motorcycle driven by 25-year old Nathaniel Tadili.
The van was being used for the campaign of Joe Visaya, a candidate for city councilor. Tadili was on the southbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue and turning towards Regalado Highway when the accident occurred.He was brought to the Fairview General Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, the Philippine Star reported.
