A concert for all Thomasians

Calling all Thomasians! A very special concert called “Tribute to the Thomasians” will be held on Feb. 10, Sunday, at 7 p.m.

The University of Santo Tomas (UST) Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Main Theater together with tenors Lemuel dela Cruz, Eugene delos Santos, Randy Gilongo and Ronan Ferrer and bass Jun Jaranilla (for the pieces “Stout-Hearted Men” from “New Moon” by Sigmund Romberg and “Nessun Dorma” from “Turandot” by Giacomo Puccini); and Joy Allan dela Cruz (the soloist for “Viola Concerto in G Minor” by Cecil Forsyth).

“As a resident orchestra of the CCP, it is also a constant source of new memberships in the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra roster while performing its own symphonic programs within the highest standards of professionalism,” said CCP president Raul Sunico.

For more information about “Tribute to the Thomasians”, call the UST Conservatory of Music at (02) 731-4022 or 406-1611 local 8246.
