There’s a thin line between daring and dumb—and most criminals don’t know the difference.
“Lloyd Abram Rivamonte, 18, is facing theft charges in Valenzuela City after a policeman caught him and his cohort allegedly stealing a motorcycle parked at an establishment near the city’s police headquarters,” reports Camille Anne M. Arcilla in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
At around 9pm on Wednesday, July 17, P03 Roberto Santillan was waiting for a jeepney ride on MacArthur Highway in Karuhatan when he saw Rivamonte and another man riding a motorbike. They kept going back and forth before stopping in front of Tully’s coffee shop.
Rivamonte then got off the motorcycle and got on another bike that was parked in front of the shop. That was when Santillan made his move. He was able to grab Rivamonte.
Rivamonte’s partner, Relly Rodas, managed to escape, but police are now looking for him.
