Bad news for Directioners (aka fans of One Direction): member Zayn Malik (aka yung pinaka-gwapo sa kanilang lahat) won’t be joining the band for their Manila and Jakarta concerts.
A spokesperson for 1D just released a statement: “Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.”
Just recently, Zayn’s photos with another woman in Thailand surfaced online and this caused some trouble with his fiancée, Perrie Edwards of the girl group Little Mix. This apparently was what caused him stress.
It is also possible that the news of Filipino anti-drugs groups wanting him and fellow member Louis Tomlinson to undergo a drug test before performing in the Philippines played a part.
The four members are expected to arrive in Manila this afternoon for their Manila leg of their “On the Road” world tour, happening on March 21 and 22.
