“Palanca Award winner Jun Robles Lana — who is also an acclaimed director — is offering a scriptwriting workshop to aspiring writers for free,” reports Dolly Anne Carvajal in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Lana’s scriptwriting credits include Jose Rizal (1998), Muro-Ami (1999), Bwakaw (2012), and many others.
There are only 20 slots in the workshop. It is open to writers 18 to 40 years old. Every applicant must e-mail a full résumé, with a photo, to jrlworkshops@gmail.com on or before 11:59pm on Wed, Dec 10.
The report noted: “Application information should include work experience related to writing for TV, film and/or theater, and past writing workshops attended. There will be a preliminary screening on Dec 14.”
