Sad news. Sheryl Ann Reyes, the wife of the former actor and Universal Motion Dancers member, passed away last April 26, Saturday, a month after giving to their first child, Alex Rafael, just last March 27. She was 26.
Wowie shared with ABS-CBN News that she just went to the comfort room to pee and that she took a pill to relieve muscle pain before returning to bed.
“Pag–higa nya, yun lang, para syang nag-choke,” said Wowie. “Tapos pagpunta ko sa kanya, nag-dilate na yung mata nya, nanigas na yung mga ganito nya (fingers).”
He tried to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation but it didn’t work so they rushed her to the hospital.
Wowie also shared that Sheryl had erratic blood pressure during her pregnancy and that it continued even after giving birth.
Now Wowie is tasked to raise their child as a single father. “Ang pinakamaganda doon sa lahat, meron syang iniwang alaala sa akin, sa pamilya namin. Doon na lang ako huhugot ng lakas ng loob kasi ang dami namin pangarap para sa anak namin,” said Wowie, who knows he has to be strong for their baby. “Pag magiging weak ako, unang-una, masasaktan ang asawa ko. Yun na lang. Iniisip ko na lang na lahat ng nangyayari, may reason.”
