When TV show host Willie Revillame decided to revive his career in showbusiness, we now realize he actually meant a full comeback.
The energetic Wowowin host has signed a recording deal with GMA Records on Sep 4, saying he’s ready to release songs he’s been working on for years.
“Matagal na ito, nakatago for almost two years. It’s the right time. Sabi nga, sa tamang panahon, at ito na ang tamang panahon sa GMA Records,” Willie told GMA News.
He says his carrier single, ‘Nandoon Ako’, carries the themes of his ‘usual songs’. By ‘usual songs’, Willie means his 2012 tracks like “Ikaw na Nga” and “Yun Ka”.
“Yung the usual na gusto ko ‘pag kinakanta ‘yun… ‘yung mga nagmamahal na ‘yung kanilang mahal sa buhay nasa malayong lugar, parang nandoon pa rin ang kanilang pagmamahal in spirit sa kantang ito,” he said.
But wait! Let’s not count out some of his bigger hits, namely “Pito-pito”, “Boom Tarat Tarat” and “Giling-giling”. Hopefully, his album can deliver.
