One rumor about comebacking Willie Revillame, who has a game/variety show on GMA 7 called Wowowin, is that when he didn’t have a show, he spent all his money gambling, lost a big fortune, and got depressed.
Finally addressing the issue, Willie told Tes! Magazine editor-in-chief Jo-ann Maglipon in an episode of the web show Pep Talk that he did get into gambling but that he was just enjoying himself. “Mukha ba akong na-depress?” he asked with a laugh. He also emphasized that it was his own money that he used, money he earned and worked hard for, so he could do anything he wanted to do with it.
