“Baka ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’.”
That’s how Kapuso star Marian Rivera wants the baby to call her and her husband, Dingdong Dantes.
In the latest issue of Smart Parenting, Marian said she really had to talk to Dingdong about it, because her husband wanted them to be addressed as ‘nanay’ and ‘tatay’.
“Noong una, gusto ng asawa ko ‘nanay’ at ‘tatay’. Sabi ko, parang gusto ko ‘mommy’. Kasi ang tawag ko sa lola ko ay ‘nanay’ at sa mama ko, ‘mama’. Bahala na, kahit ano. Pero ang tawag ko kay Dong ay ‘daddy’ eh, at ako ang baby niya, so baka ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’,” Marian explained.
The Sunday PinaSaya host is glowing on the cover of Smart Parenting, showing off her beautiful bump as she awaits the arrival of her little one. Marian will give birth in two months.
“I love to inspire women to embrace the changes that motherhood brings,” Marian wrote on Instagram as she told her followers about the magazine.
According to GMA, their Primetime Queen is just gushing about the baby growing inside her: “Nawi-weirduhan ako hanggang ngayon na may bata sa tiyan ko. Ang galing! Paano siya nabuo?! Nakaka-amaze. Parang miracle talaga!”
