It looks like Etiquette for Mistresses is more than just another movie for Kim Chiu — she’s lived it! But, she was in the opposite position in her real-life experience.
In an interview on Gandang Gabi Vice, Kim, who plays one of the mistresses in the movie, admitted that an ex-boyfriend once cheated on her.
“Nangyari na ba sa iyo na nangaliwa ang boyfriend mo?” Vice Ganda asked. “Opo,” Kim answered.
But when asked how many boyfriends she’s had, she said: “Isa lang.”
The 25-year-old actress used to be in a relationship with Kapamilya heartthrob Gerald Anderson. However, during the interview, Kim refused to say if she was pertaining to Gerald or not.
As the pair broke up in 2010, Gerald was linked to Bea Alonzo and Sarah Geronimo. But the matinee idol ended up having a relationship with Kim’s former best friend Maja Salvador.
Kim confessed she used to cry about it all the time. But now, she’s learned how to laugh things off.
“Totoo yung sinasabi nila na [kapag] iyak ka nang iyak, ‘Hindi, pagtatawanan mo lang ‘yan. Dun ako naniwala talaga na kaya palang pagtawanan,” Kim said.
