WATCH HOMEGROWN BALLET
Aug 22. Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika is a ballet program in two parts. The first features three ballet pieces representing the three major islang groups of our country. It’s actually called the Luzvimindaballet suite. The second part, billed as TLC or True Love Conversations, features Papa Jack and a series of dance vignettes exploring love and relationships. Aug 24. Who better to learn art from than a globally acclaimed artist? That’s exactly what the Ayala Museum is offering come Sunday. What started as an invitation for artist Leslie de Chavez to exhibit at Silverlens Galleries has ballooned to a group show that features 20 artists, one from as faraway as Norway. ‘Multiple Languages’ showcases the different and multilayered mediums of expression by the artists.
