LEARN MORE ABOUT MINDANAO’S TEXTILE TRADITION
Until Aug 30. To mark the end of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid’l Fit’r, the Magbassa Kita Foundation and the UP Vargas Museum hold an exhibition showcasing Ukkil (traditional decorative arts) and Sutla (silk weaving tradition) of the Islamic Peoples of Mindanao, and their traditional decorative arts. Accompanying the exhibit are three large-scale works by National Artist Abdulmari Imao.
