Toni Gonzaga has already apologized for the way she hosted the 2015 Binibining Pilipinas coronation night on March 15, 2015. She also explained that she was only instructed to lighten up things during the pageant.
Her fans have also been very vocally supportive of their idol, saying that television viewers didn’t see the whole thing – that she was funny and entertaining also off-air.
A couple of videos have been uploaded by entertainment blog Wazzup. In one, she sings songs with matching punchlines; in the other she annotated TVCs shown to the audience during commercial breaks.
No doubt about it, she was funny in those moments that TV viewers didn’t see during the delayed telecast in ABS-CBN.
But, it still doesn’t change the fact that some of her hirits, her delivery and the way she communicated with the contestants and judges reeked of yabang and sarcasm.
