We knew this was gonna happen.
For Week 7 of the awesome ABS-CBN show Your Face Sounds Familiar, Maxene Magalona had to be her father, the late Francis Magalona, and perform his hit song “Mga Kababayan.”
It was uncanny, with the hairstyle and the getup, how much she looked like her dad. It was an emotional performance but Maxene was able to perform without breaking down. She actually did a good job. So good that the judges gave her a standing ovation and she wonPHP100,000, half of which she is donating to the Francis Magalona Foundation.
Let’s see if she is as good next week, when she transforms into female emcee Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliot.
