On Oct 22, 2016 (Sat), the heavens opened and poured kilig over the Philippines with the much-awaited wedding of “Yaya Dub” (played by Maine Mendoza) and Alden Richards on GMA 7’s noontime variety show Eat Bulaga.
Once again, the matrimonial extravaganza topped global Twitter trends and had everybody crying happy tears over a make-believe wedding…
Probably wishing for the wedding to be true.
Maine and Alden’s same-day-edit (SDE) wedding video was shot and edited by no other than the master storyteller and wedding videographer to the stars, Jason Magbanua.
“The wedding could not have been any more fairytale-like,” Magbanua wrote on Facebook when he shared the SDE to the public.
Despite the dreamy music and the “fairytale-like” beauty of Maine, we believe it’s safe to say that the wedding feels all too realistic. But then again, it could just be us wishing all of this hoopla is happening in real life and not in a noontime show.
