Watch: Fil-Am Amy Vachal covers ‘Bye Bye Bye’ by N’Sync on ‘The Voice US’

It’s a strange song choice for her brand of music, but Fil-Am Amy Vachal totally made it work and made it her own.

On Monday (Tuesday morning, Manila time), fighting for a spot in Top 9 of The Voice US, Fil-Am contender Amy Vachal covered N’Sync’s 2000 hit “Bye Bye Bye.”

She earned high praises from the judges.

Gwen Stefani told Vachal was ready to go on tour, while Vachal’s mentor Adam Levine totally beamed with pride at his protege.

“We’re able to show that there are a million different ways a great song can be a great song. You’re so good at it, the way you sing them, the way you approach them, the way that you come up with them. They are infectious and popular and they are also a good display of your artistry,” Levine said.

Results of the show will be on Wednesday morning.
