A minute before the video ends, Dominique Cojuangco declares, “This is the best place in the world.”
She is on her first trip to Divisoria — or to be more accurate, to the airconditioned 168 mall in Divisoria — and she is on top of the world.
“This is class. We are literally six years old. There are days I am 60 years old, but today I am six,” she continues.
In case you didn’t know, Dominique, the only daughter of actress Gretchen Barretto and businessman Tonyboy Cojuangco, has a little project called 21 Before 21. It’s a video series where she is meant to complete 21 “challenges” before she turns 21 on Feb 23.
Since its launching in December 2015, Dominique has gone on a field trip to Intramuros with her mother, babysat the Kramer kids (with Juliana Gomez), tended the bar with Erwan Heussaff, and made a gingerbread house for Christmas.
On this episode, she discovers the cheap thrills of Divisoria, accompanied by cousin and fashion student Dani Barretto. Dominique learns how to haggle — though we think she needs more practice. She paid PHP850 for a PHP950 dress and thought she got such a bargain. LOL.
“I’ve never been to Divisoria and it’s something I’ve heard Dani and my friend Alynna rave about for so long, it’s been my dream [to go],” says Cojuangco.
