For months on end, H&M has teased everyone about opening in the Philippines. We first reported about the exciting news, November last year, and then silence. In June, H&M held a press preview, promising a 3rd quarter opening, and then silence.
Well, we’re less than a week from the last quarter of the year and finally! A date! H&M “will open its doors in the Philippine capital on October 17, 2014 at 9am until midnight at the Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall,” reads the press release emailed to Coconuts Manila just now.
All that wait looks worth it because look: 3,000 square meters encompassing 3 floors. Jayzuz. Also: H&M promises the store to remind you of, ehem, art museums and fashion galleries. The store will carry the brand’s full assortment for men, women, children, athletic, and lingerie.
So okay, yay! Welcome to the Philippines, H&M! Mabuhay!
