Anne Curtis, is there anything you can’t do?
Proving that she’s more than just a pretty face, the Kapamilya actress shared a video of herself training for the new action-packed Eric Matti movie, Buy Bust.
We’re talking legit moves here.
Anne was shown learning how to handle a knife and a pistol, training Pekiti Tirsia Kali (a Filipino martial art), and running with Scout Rangers.
In the post, Eric Matti himself praised Anne’s hardwork and dedication.
Anne wants to do all her stunts in the movie herself.
“No to doubles. That’s why I’m really putting in so much effort. I told this to direk na kung puwede ako talaga. Seryoso talaga kaya inaaral ko as much as I can kahit pasa pasa na ako, okay lang,” she said in an earlier ABS-CBN report.
(I told direk that if it’s possible, I’ll do it myself. I’m serious about htis so I study as much as I can. Even if I get bruised, it’s okay.)
The post got us hyped up about the movie.
Matti directed the 2013 crime thriller On the Job and the 2015 suspense-drama Honor Thy Father.
For this film, Anne is going to share the screen with Filipino-American star Brandon Vera.
Here’s Brandon Vera’s training video.
“Excited to work on this film when you have your actors working hard for it,” Matti captioned the photo.
Though still impressive, his moves weren’t surprising since he is best-known for his eight-year career with the MMA league UFC.
Details about the project have yet to be revealed, but judging from the title, it sounds like an action-drama about drugs and crime.
We can’t wait for the movie to hit the big screen!
