Chris Brown was supposed to be performing in Hong Kong Wednesday night. Instead, he was in his hotel room — in what looks to be Nobu at City of Dreams in Parañaque — making a shoutout to President Obama on Instagram.
At a little past midnight, Brown posted a video of himself inside his hotel room asking “Can somebody please tell me what the fuck is going on?” In the background, we hear his mates laughing it off. He captioned it, “Obama!!!”
The R&B singer was supposed to leave the country at around 1pm Wednesday onboard his Gulfstream G450 aircraft when he was advised by the Bureau of Immigration to to secure clearance from the Department of Justice.
A lookout bulletin signed by Justice secretary Leila de Lima was issued on Tuesday, a few hours before Brown’s successful SM Mall of Asia Arena show.
He needed to secure clearance but got caught up with the 5pm closing time. We actually thought he was going to party at Pangea but guess the party was in his room. He posted another video after the Obama shoutout, wherein Brown looks like he’s actually enjoying himself. He captioned that, ‘Clowning.’
An unverified TMZ report says he was able to leave the country but as of 7am, we’ve yet to hear anything about the matter during the morning news broadcast.
