There’s no stopping Rose Fostanes, the Pinay caregiver on X Factor Israel who wowed everyone with her audition piece, “This Is My Life” by Shirely Bassey. She continues to slay. For the next part of her audition, she sang “You and I” by Lady Gaga, and even got a standing ovation from the other contestants afterward.
Before she sang, Rose expressed how she’s afraid that the other contestants won’t talk to her and think that she’s some sort of alien — a Filipina who cleans houses for a living. When a contestant finally approaches her, she tell the Israeli that she has “very small confidence for myself” and that she doesn’t believe it when people say she sings well.
Our favorite part of the clip? Her inspiring lines: “You have to move. You have to fight. You have to make your best. Maybe it’s not too late for me to have a good life.”
