Breakout star of 2015 Maine Mendoza has finally scored her first solo endorsement, with a video released early morning today on Facebook.
Hint: Ang haba ng hair niya!
The commercial for a shampoo brand starts with the song “You Are So Beautiful” on the background, and we see a montage of Maine’s photos as a baby, a toddler, a young adult, a college graduate, with short hair, with long hair, as a Dubsmasher and as the beautiful young lady that she is today.
It ends with a shot of her inside an elevator, and a man-who-looks-like-Alden who forces the door open just as it closes, and joins her inside. The tagline? Be ready when your destiny comes.
To be honest, we were quite weirded out — Maine was all pretty and nice and it’s the first time ever that we’re seeing her not being her usual wacky, bungisngis self. But that’s just us. The slow pace of the commercial and the wistful melody was very touching, though.
In the first hours the video was uploaded, it garnered 181,171 views, 13,374 likes and 5,673 shares. Can this girl do no wrong at all?
