Comedian Rufa Mae Quinto has just started vlogging but she has already made a big splash with a video that she posted on Saturday. In it, she pretends to be the voice of GPS navigation app Waze — complete with her unique and comedic catchphrases.

Waze is an extremely helpful app that many Filipino drivers use to outsmart Manila’s traffic. It provides turn-by-turn navigation guides, information on travel times, and route maps.

As of this writing, Quinto’s video has gone viral and has reached over 49,000 views on YouTube and 4,600 shares on Facebook.

She starts the video with a greeting: “Hello there, welcome back to me, I’m Rufa ‘Waze’ Quinto.”

In the video, the actress adds that there have been a lot of requests for her to act like the Waze navigation voice.

She says that the vlog is her “application, my own audition” to give the public a taste of what to expect if she were to become a Filipino Waze navigation voice.

In the middle of her so-called audition, Quinto suddenly quipped to someone off-cam in Filipino: “Hey, don’t wash the dishes while we’re on Waze.”

Quinto enlightens netizens on how motorists can get to each turn and stoplight with nonstop laughter, a highly doubtful situation in the metro’s congested roads. She advises that if a driver is at a stoplight, “Steady lang (only), don’t rush, keep calm, and carry on!”

She’s extremely helpful by pointing out where you exactly need to go. “Go, go, go to the highest level until you reach 5th Avenue! Not in 2nd Avenue, not in 3rd Avenue, not in 4th Avenue, but in 5th Avenue!” she says.

She even shares some helpful reminders by saying: “Don’t forget the clutch if your car isn’t automatic.” Sorry, manual drivers.

Towards the end of the video, she exclaims: “So waze-ted!”

Great wordplay on Quinto’s end.

Netizens loved her performance and couldn’t get enough of Quinto.

Facebook user Mcrey Banderlipe II addressed Waze specifically to accept Quinto’s “application” as the “voice of Waze in the Philippines.”

“Infairness! If Ruffa (sic) Mae Quinto was really the voice on Waze, no driver would be hot headed hehehe,” wrote Mabs Sengco.

Kurt Russel Pacia Cabilan said in Filipino: “Girl I feel like i’ll end up in an accident laughing nonstop on the road. Hahahaha.”

Quinto, who is known for saying punchlines like “Go go go!” and “Todo na ‘to! (To the highest level),” has been known for playing ditzy yet kind-hearted women in television and movies. One of her more famous movies is Booba, a play on the words “bobo” (stupid) and boobs.
