Perhaps it’s the vintage appeal of the photo, or the disruptive throwback on a slow Sunday, or you know, the funny kabarokan that references the furiously popular #AlDub.
But whoever put two old photos of Alma Moreno and Rudy Fernandez in one frame and called it #AlDab is a mad genius with a deep knowledge of Pinoy pop culture and a lot of time.
The photo has of course gone viral.
Rudy Fernandez, as we all know, is nicknamed Da Boy. And Alma and Da Boy, of course, were a famous couple in the ’80s who reared ’90s heartthrob Mark Anthony Fernandez.
