These are some of the last words of Hollywood actor Paul Walker to the Philippines, who was last seen yesterday (Saturday afternoon in California) at a car show asking fans to send some help to #YolandaPH survivors. In the video below, shot while they were filming Fast & Furious 7, he is seen with Michelle Rodriguez, Nathalie Emmanuel, director James Wan, Vin Diessel and Ludacris.
Diesel and Rodriguez were in Manila to promote Fast & Furious 6. Rodriguez said it was the biggest premiere movie, next only to the one in Rio de Janeiro. Walker was unable to join them.
According to TMZ, he was taking friends out for rides in a brand-new Porsche GT when the accident happen. He was a passenger in a driver’s car.
The driver was later revealed to be Paul Rodas, a business partner of Walker.
“It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences,” a post on his official Facebook page said.
