Watch: Gay tweens at Pride March 2015

While Pride March was in full blast, parading down Kalaw, Taft, and then Padre Faura and so on, back at the Lapu Lapu monument, Coconuts TV found a group of gay tweens working it. Apparently, they didn’t know about the Pride March, and were only there to rehearse for an upcoming beauty pageant.

We spoke to their trainer, Judiel Buhain, who told us that apart from teaching pageant tricks, he also teaches them basic life skills.

Unlike most of the Pride March attendees however, Judiel doesn’t feel the need to fight for anything, really. He tells us that where he’s from — Tondo — gays are already accepted and respected as a vital part of their community. “Maybe homosexuals are made to put a smile on people’s faces and make them happy.”
