After being linked to Villa Quintana co-star Bettinna Carlos, Raymart Santiago is now being linked to Dra. Vicki Belo.
Kinda random, so why?
There was chismis last week that Raymart received a deposit check from Belo back in November 2007 – amounting to PHP1,050,000. To think that Raymart was never a Belo endorser.
Dra. Vicki addressed the issue during the launch of Marian Rivera as the latest endorser of her company yesterday, May 8. She started by saying that she’s actually the ninang of Raymart and his estranged wife Claudine Barretto, and then explained that back when the two were married, she’d never see Raymart alone; it was always with Claudine.
Laughing, she noted that maybe people have nothing to write about nowadays. The worst part is that it’s another rumor about her paying men. “Ano ba! Ganun ba talaga ako ka-pangit? Hoy, excuse me!” she said.
Dra. Vicki shared that she’s been trying to clarify the issue with Claudine, who has learned about the deposit check issue recently, but that they haven’t really talked yet. Her explanation: I’ve been talking to Claudine, and in fact I called her three days ago. She keeps calling me then I call her back. She doesn’t answer, she calls me again, and I’m not near the phone or I’m out.”
Dra. Vicki also had to come clean by saying that she has seen Raymart after he and Claudine went their separate ways. “I never really ever in my entire life saw Raymart without Claudine while they were married. And the only times I’ve seen Raymart after, when they split up, is going to his restaurant and eating his wonderful black paella,” she told ABS-CBN News.
Okay, now we’re hungry.
