Vice Ganda is a successful concert performer. May Nag-Text… Yung Totoo: Vice Ganda sa Araneta in 2011 and The Unkabogable Concert in 2012 both broke records. And then his concert I-Vice Ganda Mo ‘Ko sa Araneta in 2013 was not just controversial (remember those Jessica Soho fat jokes?), it is also reportedly the highest-earning concert at the Araneta for the year 2013.
Last year, he didn’t have one at the Araneta because he was busy with a movie here and a concert tour abroad, but this year he made sure he’d have one again.
This year, he’s going to mount Vice, Gandang-Ganda sa sarili sa Araneta: Eh Di Wow!
So how different is it going to be? He shared during a press con last Wednesday, March 25, that he will show a different brand of humor, something that fans don’t see on his shows It’s Showtime! and Gandang Gabi Vice. Even if he got criticism for his offensive jokes during the last concert, he is not going to tame it down because it won’t be him if he does that. So we guess he’ll go full blast with it, as usual. And because of this, the concert will be PG-13. He knows he has young fans but that more fans are older and he wants to cater to these fans for this concert because like he mentioned earlier, he wants to offer something more than what he offers in his TV shows.
