Okay, so the reason why Vice Ganda hasn’t been on It’s Showtime! lately is because he’s sick; a cyst was found in his kidney. This was confirmed this through a text message to Kris Aquino, and she shared on last night’s episode of Aquino & Abunda Tonight the message from Tina Viceral, the sister of Vice: “Yung sa kanya kasi maliit. Less than a centimetre. Napakaliit noon nakita so with that ino-observe lang yun for now. Hindi naman siya alarming so hopefully hindi sya mag-progress at hindi na siya lumaki pa.”
Incidentally, Vice was also asked to go on full voice rest after doctors discovered that there’s a mass of tissue found on his right vocal cord.
Vice is scheduled to return to the show tomorrow, Oct. 17.
