MANILA – Comedian Vice Ganda said things are now back to normal between him and teen actor Daniel Padilla after they had a misunderstanding.
In an interview with “The Buzz” during a block screening of “Crazy Beautiful You” which he sponsored, Vice Ganda said he and Padilla are on speaking terms anew after not talking to each other for one month.
“Siya [‘yung naunang kumausap sa akin] kasi mas maarte ako. Hindi naman siya maarte. Ganyan naman kami, lagi naman kaming nagkakatampuhan niyan pero wala lang. Kapag nagkita kami, super okay kami agad,” Vice Ganda said.
On “It’s Showtime” last week, Vice Ganda said their chance meet up happened when they saw each other at an embassy.
Meanwhile, Padilla said he and his family will always love Vice Ganda despite the misunderstandings.
“Mahal namin ito ng nanay ko. ‘Yung buong pamilya ko mahal siya,” he said.
It would be recalled that more than a month ago, Vice Ganda lambasted the fans of Bernardo and Padilla after they complained of the onscreen couple’s short airtime on the comedian’s talk show.
Vice Ganda expressed his disappointment over the two’s supporters saying they are very “hard to please.”
In a separate interview, Padilla urged his supporters to apologize to Vice Ganda because he always wants only the best for him and Bernardo.
