Actress-host Pauleen Luna is pregnant with her first child, her husband Vic Sotto announced Sat, May 6.
Sotto made the announcement in a typical light-hearted manner on noontime show Eat Bulaga!
“Gusto ko pong i-announce sa Pilipinas at sa buong mundo na buntis ako, hindi po ako, ang aking asawa,” he said.
(I would like to announce to the Philippines and the entire world that I am pregnant… Well, not me, but my wife.)
The comedian also asked for prayers for his wife’s successful pregnancy.
In an Instagram post, Luna expressed her excitement to be a mother.
“Finally, a bun in the oven! Can’t be more proud and excited to be a mom… thank you to my handsome for surprising me with this announcement… THANK YOU LORD FOR BEING SO GRACIOUS!” she said.
No further details regarding Luna’s pregnancy were announced.
This is Luna’s first pregnancy. Sotto, on the other hand, has 4 other children from his previous relationships.
Sotto tied the knot with Luna last year in a wedding ceremony held at St. James The Great Parish Church in Alabang.
