Congratulations to the newly weds!
Vic Sotto, 61, and Pauleen Luna, 27, tied the knot on Sat evening, Jan 30, in a low-key but star-studded wedding. It was held at the St. James Parish in Ayala Alabang, with the reception at the nearby tent.
The couple’s Eat Bulaga! family was ever-present at the wedding: Ryzza Mae was the flower girl, Ruby Rodriguez was the maid of honor, Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards were the offertory sponsors.
Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, Anjo Yllana were among Vic’s groomsmen, while Joey De Leon and Tito Sotto stood as principal sponsors.
Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, as expected, got everybody’s attention as one of Pauleen’s bridemaids.
A special segment for the wedding was aired on Eat Bulaga! Saturday afternoon, with the lolas of the Kalye Serye interviewing the bride and groom separately.
“Una sa lahat, salamat. Thank you for loving me,” Vic says in his message to Pauleen. “For loving me for what I am, kung ano man ako, ano mang pinagdaanan ko, tinanggap niya ako, and I highly appreciate that. Thank you.”
For her part, Pauleen told her groom, “I’ve prayed for this for quite a while. Marami na rin tayong napagdaanan and I’m just so blessed that I’ll be sharing this life with you and I am so happy that I found my home in you.”
