One of YouTube’s most fabulous makeup artists Patrick Starrr, who also happens to be Filipino American, was in the country in February to promote his makeup line with MAC Cosmetics. And who better to interview him than one of the country’s best-known talk show hosts and makeup enthusiast Kris Aquino?
Aquino shared a video of their conversation online yesterday, and Filipino makeup lovers can’t get over how two of the internet’s favorites are in one video together.
Talk about the ultimate collab.
Since leaving television in 2016, Aquino started her own social media show Heart to Heart with Kris on her Facebook page with more than 1.3 million followers, and YouTube channel, where she has over 166,000 subscribers as of posting date.
Starrr, on the other hand, has over 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube where he has uploaded 247 videos as of posting date.
In the video, the two discuss Starrr’s beginnings as a MAC makeup artist and how he became one of the most famous makeup gurus on YouTube, even working with international celebrities like Jessie J and Kim Kardashian West, who have both appeared in videos on his channel.
They also talked about his Filipino heritage, his favorite local food, and of course, the product line he recently launched in the Philippines.
As of today, the video has about 149,000 views.
