The leads of the Filipino 90s film Do Re Mi reunited on stage last Saturday and of course, they sang the movie’s theme song I Can.

It happened during Regine Velasquez’ concert that celebrated her now 30-year career.

The crowd cheered as “Do” or Donna Cruz and “Mi” or Mikee Cojuangco joined Velasquez and her 6-year-old son Nathaniel Alcasid in the song number.

Watch the performance below and try not to cry from all the nostalgia.

The three actress-singers all wore blush pink dresses that mimicked the various matching outfits they wore throughout the film.

For those who are too young to know about Do Re Mi, the film came out in 1996 and is about rich kid Donnette (Cruz), tomboy Mikki (Cojuangco), and aspiring star Reggie forming a band to pursue their musical dreams. After realizing their documents to perform in Japan were falsified by an agency, the three women decide to stay in a rural part of the Philippines and help revitalize a restobar (restaurant and bar) — through music, of course.

It’s a feel-good classic that fans love to this day, as seen in people’s positive reactions to the surprise reunion.

Now, when can we see a complete Tabing Ilog or T.G.I.S. reunion?
