Luis Manzano already denied his rumored romance with Jessy Mendiola, but that doesn’t exempt Luis from the occasional jab.

Toni Gonzaga teased Luis about his rumored relationship with Jessy on the Sun, Jun 26, episode of ABS-CBN noontime variety show ASAP.
While doing spiels in between segments, Luis and Toni, along with co-hosts Jolina Magdangal and Enrique Gil, talked about the women who made it to FHM Philippines‘ sexiest list, which concluded its online poll earlier this month.
As earlier reported, Jessy topped the last partial tally released by the magazine.
“Mayroong bagong tinututukan ang mga boys dahil inaabangan ninyong lahat, lalong lalo na itong katabi ko,” Toni said, referring to Luis, “ang annual sexiest women in the world list sa isang sikat na men’s magazine.”
(Boys, especially this one beside me, are waiting for the the annual sexiest women in the worls list of a popular men’s magazine.)
She added, referring to Jessy: “Talaga nga namang hindi natin maide-deny sa mga bikini na ang sexy niya at ang liit ng bewang niya kaya naman siya po ang frontrunner, hindi sa politics, pero this year para sa final results ng botohan.
(We can’t deny that she looks sexy in a bikini, that’s why she is the frontrunner, not in politics, but in this year’s final tally.)
“I’m sure may isang bumoto sa kanya. ‘Yung katabi ko, I’m sure bumoto iyan.”
(I’m sure the person beside me voted for her)
To this, Luis responded: “Ico-confirm ko, bumoto po ako — sa Batangas nung eleksyon.”
(I will confirm, I voted — in Batangas during the election.)
It’s not like anyone is expecting Luis to admit the status of his relationship with Jessy on ASAP (although that wouldn’t be far–fetched).
But this seems to be consistent his statements during a recent interview, wherein Luis said he will now “keep his mouth shut” when it comes to Jessy.
“Anything about that, I’ll keep my mouth shut. I’ll keep quiet na lang about the issue,” he said in a recent TV interview.
Meanwhile, Jessy has remained mum about the rumors.
