Tommy Esguerra sure knows romantic when he sees it.
The ex-Pinoy Big Brother 737 contestant revealed last night on Tonight With Abunda that he took the rains as a sign that he and fellow-PBB housemate Miho Nishida are “meant to be together.”
He and Miho both star in a segment on It’s Showtime called “therealiserye”. On a recent episode, the 21-year-old Fil-Am model serenaded her lady friend and it began to pour. He forgot the lyrics, but it stopped raining as soon he finished the song.
“I believe in love, I believe in signs I believe in faith…And if there’s not a sign, that’s the one. That we’re meant to be together,” he says.
Tommy reveals that he started having feelings for Miho two weeks after he entered the PBB house. “I thought she was attractive, cool, funny, cute,” he says.
But then his attraction grew into romantic feelings, urging him to court her. When Abunda asked him what he feels, he admitted, “I’m in love with her.”
When Tomiho guested on Abunda’s show two weeks ago, the 22-year-old single mother said that she was 75% close to falling in love with Esguerra.
So last night Abunda asked Esguerra if he thinks he increased his chances of winning her over after his serenade. “I would hope it’s 100 per cent pero I’m okay even if there was 20, 30 because it’s the process of winning her that’s worth it,” he said.
We love a man who knows what he wants — and isn’t afraid to work for it.
