Filipino boy band the TNT Boys are used to performing for thousands of people but nothing could have prepared them for this sweet surprise in their latest international TV performance.

They were invited to The Late Late Show with James Corden where their idol Ariana Grande surprised them and joined in on their performance.

The video was posted on the show’s YouTube account yesterday and first shows vocalists Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion bantering with Corden.

“You are, I gotta say, my favorite new boy band on planet earth,” Corden told the group.

Corden is the host of the reality talent competition The World’s Best where the TNT Boys recently wowed the audience and judges composed of entertainment professionals from all over the world. They sang “Listen” from the musical Dream Girls and successfully moved on to the next round.

The host talked about the first time he met the group and recalled how Francis fanboyed over the fact that Corden has met Ariana Grande. The boys continued to talk about their experiences, not knowing that Grande was backstage watching them through a monitor.

The band then sang “And I Am Telling You,” also from Dream Girls, a performance Grande eventually joined in on, which can be seen in the video’s 4:10 mark.

And they were shookt.

The boys were all smiles and Francis, the self-proclaimed Ari fan, even gasped “Oh my God.” All thing considered, though, the TNT Boys kept their composure and still managed to hit all the high notes.

The TNT Boys were formed after each of them became finalists in the singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids,” a segment on the ABS-CBN show It’s Showtime. They then won the grand prize in the show Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids, where they impersonated famous musical acts. They’ve also performed in various international franchises of the show Little Big Shots.

In November, the group became the youngest artists to sell out a major concert in the Philippines.

Grande, of course, has been doing well for herself too. She currently holds the number 1, 2, and 3 spots on the Billboard Hot 100, the first act to do so since the Beatles in 1964.
