It’s officially treat yo’self o’ clock — the big 12/12 (Dec. 12) year-end sales are happening everywhere on and offline right now.
There’s a hell of a lot of sales promos to sift through, so to make shopping time a bit easier for everyone, we’ve compiled a list of places that are offering special promos — everything from plane tickets, food, gadgets, and clothes.

#BookIt: Travel without breaking the bank
Traveling is a lot more fun for us when we can score affordable plane tickets. If you feel the same way, then good news…
Cebu Pacific announced earlier today a one-day Snap Sale that offers cheap tickets for select local and international flights.
For local flights, the airline is offering a PHP299 (US$5.68) base fare from Manila to Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Pagadian, San Jose (Mindoro), and Zamboanga.
For international flights, the airline is offering a PHP499 (US$9.47) base fare from Manila to Bali, Brunei, Fukuoka, Hanoi, Shanghai, Siem Reap, and Taipei; and a base fare of PHP549 (US$10.42) from Manila to Singapore.
The travel period covered by the sale is from Jan. 20 to April 30, 2019.
AirAsia also announced earlier today that “all seats, all flights” are 12 percent off for 48 hours (Dec. 12-13) for bookings made through its app.
The travel period covered by the sale is from Jan. 7 to May 31, 2019.
Travel booking app Traveloka also has a sale on travel offerings today.
Users who book through its app can get a PHP1,212 (US$23) discount on flight and hotel packages. Those who book roundtrip flights can get up to PHP400 (US$7.59) – PHP600 (US$11.39) off.
Have a pre-holiday sugar high
Krispy Kreme has a special promo for those who love getting a sugar high: Get a PHP12 (US$0.23) box of six Original Glazed for free when buying a dozen of Original Glazed donuts for PHP385 (US$7.31).
This might be too much for one person, but could be perfect for potluck Christmas parties.
Shop for all sorts of goodies online
Online shopping is convenient for those who don’t want to brave the particularly packed malls at this time of the year. It’s even better now that websites offer a variety of products including appliances, clothes, and even phone cases.
Lazada is currently on a three-day sale with items up to 90 percent off. They have home appliances, makeup, gadgets, food, clothes, and accessories on sale.
Some Daniel Wellington watches are up for grabs for only PHP2,500+ (US$47.44) from their original prices of PHP10,000 (US$189.83) – PHP11,000 (US$208.81).
Shopee also has a Christmas sale today. The e-commerce website offers deals up to 99 percent off on brands such as P&G, Maybelline, Vivo, SM Store, Silverworks, Unilever, Lactum, and Platinum Karaoke.
There are even flash sales as low as PHP12 (US$0.23).
Acer Philippines even did a promo that gave buyers the option to get an Aspire ES14 laptop, which is priced at PHP15,999 (US$303.80), for only PHP12 (US$0.23) today. That deal was only limited to the first 12 units, though, and has already been sold out.
Over on fashion e-commerce website ZALORA, they’re holding their year-end sale until Dec. 17 with markdowns up to 80 percent off on brands such as Nike, Mango, Topman, Topshop, River Island, Adidas, blk cosmetics, and Converse among others.
