Watch the most anticipated local film of the year

Date: Opens in theaters today
Venue: All major cinemas nationwide
Three years after the sleeper hit Heneral Luna (General Luna), its much-awaited sequel Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral (Goyo: The Boy General) is finally out in theaters.
The film is said to be the biggest and possibly most expensive local film to date and tells the story of Filipino hero Gregorio “Goyo” del Pilar (played by Paulo Avelino) who fought during the Filipino-American war.
Unlike other films about the revolution, this one isn’t saccharine in its discussion of nationalism and instead shows the disillusionment of a young patriot.
Watch it in most major cinemas nationwide. It’s gonna be a big one, gang.
