Venue: One Esplanade J.W. Diokno Blvd., Pasay City

Anyone who hasn’t been Halloween-ed out from last weekend’s holiday festivities can look forward to a bunch of horror-themed events during the upcoming 4-day weekend, starting with this one in Pasay City.

Event space One Esplanade has been turned into a haunted house for those brave enough to visit it. There will be a haunted maze, cosplayers, game booths, and a food park.

Tickets are available on Ticket World and are priced at PHP500 (US$9.35) for a single pass and PHP900 (US$16.83) for an unlimited pass.

Celebrate being young, dumb, and broke

Venue: Smart Araneta Coliseum, General Roxas Ave., Cubao, Quezon City

Khalid, the singer behind the earworm Young Dumb & Broke is coming to the Philippines for his American Teen tour. The pop R&B artist’s concert will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday.

Apart from Young Dumb & Broke, his other hits include 8TEEN, Saved, Location, and Love Lies, a collaboration with singer Normani.

Tickets are available on Ticket Net and range from PHP1,590 (US$29.74) – PHP5,406 (US$101.11).

Watch a haunting opera

Halloween can also be a cultural experience. Feel chills of a different kind while watching The Medium, a dramatic opera by Gian Carlo Menotti.

It tells the story of a woman who pretends to be a medium but eventually starts experiencing paranormal activities.

It will be staged by MusicArtes at the BGC Arts Center starting Nov. 2, Friday. Tickets are available on Ticket World at PHP1,200 (US$22.44) and PHP1,500 (US$28.05).

Coconuts TV featured Filipino painter Dansoy Coquilla in an episode of Carinderia Crawl back in 2016, where he takes the audience on a trip to a pop-up eatery in Quezon City.

The visual artist known for his paintings of crowded spaces now has an upcoming solo exhibition which will happen on Sunday, 6pm at the Ronac ART Center.

Called “Pop Up!” the event will feature Coquilla’s pieces curated by Yason Banal.

Get yourself out of a scary situation

Here’s a haunted house for the extra brave.

Available in Breakout Philippines’ branch in Paragon Plaza, SIX is a “live action thriller experience” that will have groups of six people go through rooms where they will discover hidden scenes and find clues that will help them solve the game’s mystery.

Shows run from Friday –  Sunday until Nov. 30, Friday. Tickets are at PHP750 (US$14.02) per person.

Note: Participants must be 16 years old and up.
