She’s gorgeous. She’s a talented fashion designer. And recently, she just swam with the famous whale sharks of Oslob.
Meet Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana of Thailand, a real-life princess who happens to be a full-time designer, too.
The fashion-forward royalty visited Barangay Tan-awan, Oslob, Cebu to swim with the beautiful creatures which have made Oslob a famous tourist spot.
Princess Nariratana’s visit was unannounced but the locals realized that there was a VIP in their town upon seeing the tight security in their small, quiet village.
“Only a few tourists and residents knew about her visit because some of them were curious why there were many policemen present in the area,” said PO2 Jun Emar Jerusalem, desk officer of Oslob police station in a report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Oslob Mayor Jose Tumulak Jr. shared that the princess insisted on visiting Oslob even if their town was far away from the city.
The princess and her party arrived at 5:45 pm on Fri. She got to swim with the whale sharks at 8 am and at 10pm on Sat. They left at 2 pm of the same day.
Tumulak expects more tourists in Oslob, following Prinncess Nariratana’s visit.
