Surprise? Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos fight is part of a documentary

Today in news that should surprise no one: it was revealed that the tiff between Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos, which eventually led to a mixed martial arts match earlier this year, was part of a documnetary.

In a Facebook post on Thu, Dec 1, Beastmode Productions admitted that “certain actions” of the two actors were “planned and enacted.”

“We have meticulously planned the preparation, execution, and reveal of every stage of this project,” part of the statement reads. Yup, it’s all for show, folks.

What made them reveal this? To clarify that the recent incident involving Baron and actor Ping Media is not part of their documentary.

Prior to the “revelation,” Beastmode Production has also been posting video clips of Baron and Kiko. We can only assume these clips are part of the documentary:

Baron also shared the trailer for the documentary with the comment: “Tutal wala na akong career at baka ito na ang huling pelikula ko sana ay panoorin po ninyo.”

(Since I no longer have a career and this may be my last movie, I hope you watch this.)

Last May, Baron became headline news when a video clip shows him in an altercation with Kiko at a bar in Quezon City. That led to an mixed martial arts exhibition match at the Valkyrie Club in Bonifacio Global City last Jun.

But before that, the actor was also seen in a viral video going “beast mode” on UP film students. Many speculated that the incident was scripted, but Baron then denied the rumors.

And let’s not forget Baron’s online word war with Mo Twister and his other (but less viral) “beast mode” video.

Earlier this week, Ping slammed Baron for urinating on him while filming a scene for a movie in Subic.
