You’d think Alma Moreno would be at least a little bit pissed at Karen Davila after their “awkward” ANC Headstart interview last year.
But no. In an interview with Ricky Lo of The Philippine Star, the actress-turned-politician said she has “no hard feelings” against the journalist-TV host.
“In fact. I thanked Karen for challenging me to improve myself,” she said. The report added Alma was not “sufficiently prepared” for the interview. Well, duh.
Alma also said that she was inspired by Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno. “Minaliit din noong una sila sumabak sa pulitika,” she said of the two.
We didn’t really expect the “Tangga Queen” to openly express disdain for Karen after the now-infamous interview. Alma is running as senator, after all, and she needs all the good will (and pity points) she could get.
