Perhaps we can take this as a sign that Sunshine Dizon is really moving on from the heartbreak and drama.
The actress has decided to drop all charges against her husband just in time for the new year. She did it for the benefit of her children.
“We filed our desistance today. It means that we are dropping all our charges against my ex-husband, Timothy Tan,” Sunshine confirmed in a report by ABS-CBN News.
However the actress emphasized that she will soon file for the annulment of her marriage to Tan.
It may be recalled that Sunshine and Timothy had a controversial split last year after a third party supposedly caused their marital woes.

“There is no forgiveness for what you did. No annulment for you. I will seek justice. I will see you both in court,” Sunshine earlier said.
Timothy can thank his lucky stars. The charges against him were for violating the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 and concubinage.
Sunshine, however, emphasized that the battle is far from over. She said she owes it to herself to “be free of all this.”
Just before Christmas, Timothy issued a public apology for Sunshine and their kids.
