Actress Liza Soberano today complained about the poster of the new movie Tililing, which literally translates to “crazy.”
The poster shows several actors, including Baron Geisler and Candy Pangilinan, sticking out their tounges, with a few of them with their eyes rolled back. Judging by their facial expressions, they appear to be mentally disturbed.
“Really hoping that this movie will spread awareness and enlighten us on the struggles of dealing with mental health,” Soberano tweeted.
“But the poster? It’s a no for me. Mental health is NOT a joke. Stop the stigma,” the actress added.

The movie’s director Darryl Yap welcomed Soberano’s comment and assured her that the film will make people understand the importance of mental health.
“My actors in this movie went through struggles that strengthened their mental health. We are sure that they would not have accepted this project if this would put into question their principles. They are smart and their director is brave,” Yap said in Filipino.
“If you watch Tililing you will understand why this was the title, why their tounges [are out in the poster], and why we are standing by the quality and message of the movie,” he added.
Yap, 33, is a controversial figure and had been criticized for allegedly supporting pedophilia.
