Steven Seagal in PH, Chavit Singson welcomes him at NAIA-3

American actor Steven Seagal — known for action films like Above the Law, Under Siege, and Hard to Kill — is in the country.

Apparently, Seagal arrived in Manila on Mon afternoon, Mar 21 via a Cathay Pacific airlines flight.

“Seagal was welcomed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 by Terminal Manager Octavio ‘Bing’ Lina and former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson,” reports Ariel Fernandez in Manila Bulletin.

The report noted: “Seagal did not reveal why he is in the country. However, it may be recalled that this is not his first time in the Philippines, as he visited during the Marcos regime and during the administration of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, whom he referred to as a ‘friend.'”

From the airport, Seagal and Singson proceeded to the hangar and boarded a private plane going to Cebu.
