Hey, it’s 2017! A growing number of artists and entrepreneurs have come to understand how crowdfunding can turn dream projects into reality. Thank you, internet!
Popular crowdfunding sites have caught the attention of the mass audience with crowdfunded hits like The Pebble fitness watch, printable clothing, and an attempt to pay off the debt of Greece (which failed, of course).
Well, right here in our own backyard is The Spark Project, a crowdfunding platform started in 2013 focusing on Filipino talent and ingenuity. The Spark Project has helped launch local brands like a camera bag, craft beer, a board game, and coffee. It’s more than just a crowdfunding site. It’s a support system for entrepreneurs too.
Now on it’s fourth year, The Spark Project is crowdsourcing to help make the first ever annual Spark Festival come to life.
What’s the Spark Festival? It’s a celebration of the thriving independent entrepreneurial community that the Spark Project has created over the years.
So what’s in it for those who donate?
Interested individuals may donate PHP1000 and get event tickets to Spark Project events.
Those who donate PHP3000 and up can get a mystery box filled the best homegrown Spark Project brands.
Those who donate PHP 5,000 can get a Gouche bag (pictured above) in addition to a mystery box.
The crowdfunding campaign is up until Feb 28. The Spark Project is happening sometime in June.
